The Day of Belarusian Science

On January 28, Belarus celebrates the Day of Belarusian Science, a professional holiday for all scientists, science workers and employees of research institutes.

The annual celebration of the Day of Belarusian Science (on the last Sunday of January) was established by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated March 26, 1998 No. 157.

This holiday is dedicated to the contribution of science to the development of Belarus. Thanks to scientific activity, Belarusian scientists have made significant achievements in various fields.
